I've developed hundreds of Console Applications, and I always use my Console Application Expert when I start a new Console Application project. I've used it for years - but I've never published it - until now! You just install the package and you get a new 'Console Application' wizard when you select File/New/Other... in Delphi 7, and click the Projects tab. Here's what it looks like...
